2022 AICWA Gala Awards Ceremony

The Australian Institute of Conveyancers WA (AICWA) Division hosts an annual awards night to commemorate and celebrate the outstanding achievements of conveyancing firms, individual conveyancers or individuals who are not conveyancers but are members of the industry.

These awards are based on a nomination system and are received from fellow AICWA members. The nominations take into account the significant contributions made within the industry over the previous 12 months and are announced at the spectacular Gala Awards Dinner at the conclusion of the voting process.

Vicki Philipoff Settlements were nominated and announced as finalists of both the 2022 Dorothy Peacock Award and the 2022 Betty Quelch Award.

• – The Dorothy Peacock Award is awarded to an individual, for their outstanding contribution to the Conveyancing Industry in WA and nominated by members.
• – The Betty Quelch Award is awarded to a settlement agency for excellence in performance (and also nominated by members).

The 2022 AICWA Awards Gala, held on Saturday 12th of November Astral Ball Room, was special as it marked the 30th anniversary of the inaugural event and was particularly spectacular as Vicki Philipoff was the proud winner of the prestigious Dorothy Peacock Award.

The Dorothy Peacock Award, named after the iconic conveyancer, was an extremely generous woman who trained many existing professionals in the industry and was a crucial figure in establishing the Independent Settlement Agents Association (ISAA). She was described by those who knew her best as an honest, dedicated individual who exhibited an outstanding work ethic and conducted herself with the utmost integrity.
